DSI guarantees all Excalibur Sabres to be of first-class steel, and provides a limited lifetime warranty against any defects in material and workmanship. This warranty covers breakage of the blade and hilt.
This warranty does not apply to damage caused by abnormal or unreasonable use of any part of the sabre (including repairs or alterations other than by our Authorized Service Center). Warranty claims deemed to be covered by our warranty will be fulfilled by DSI by either:
(1) Replacement part(s) or sabre will be sent to you free of charge -OR –
(2) DSI will repair or replace the sabre (at our discression) and return it to you.
You are responsible for any shipping charges incurred to send the damaged sabre to DSI.
Please note that “normal wear and tear” of these sabres, including scratches, small dents and “dings”, both to the blade and to the hilt, are not covered by this warranty. A damaged Excalibur Sabre not covered by the warranty can be repaired in many cases. Note that repair costs and handling charges may apply. If so, you will receive an estimate for approval for any associated repair charges. All warranty repairs or replacements are at the sole discretion of the DSI Excalibur Sabre Authorized Repair Center and we reserve the right to refuse a request for any reason.
To make a warranty claim, please contact the authorized DSI retailer where you purchased the Excalibur Sabre to get a sabre repair number. Should you not know who you purchased your sabre from, please contact DSI customer service at 800.893.8171. In most cases, you will be requested to describe the problem you are experiencing with your sabre, and, in some cases, you may be asked to provide several photographs to us.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Additional rights may be available under the laws of your State or Province.
